Senior Business Consultant-Billing

As we continue to expand our client base, we are seeking a talented Business Consultant to join our team and provide exceptional consulting services for implementing our natural gas billing software solutions.
Role Overview: As a Business Consultant specializing in natural gas billing software implementations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring successful deployment of our software solutions at client sites. You will work closely with our clients, understanding their business requirements, and providing expert guidance and support throughout the implementation process. Your expertise in natural gas customer billing will be instrumental in delivering value-added solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to understand their business objectives, operational processes, and software requirements related to natural gas billing.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of client systems, processes, and data to identify optimal client designs and strategies for software implementation.
- Lead and facilitate workshops, meetings, and training sessions with clients to gather requirements, present software capabilities, and provide demonstrations.
- Develop and document business process workflows, user stories, and functional specifications to guide software customization and configuration.
- Collaborate with team members in both US and India including software developers and project managers, to ensure customer design requirements are properly executed.
- Assist clients in data migration, system integration, and testing activities to ensure smooth implementation and adherence to project timelines.
- Offer implementation guidance and troubleshooting assistance to clients, addressing software-related issues.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key client project staff to ensure seamless collaboration and effective project outcomes.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of natural gas customer billing processes for residential and commercial accounts required.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex business requirements and translate them into software solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in facilitating workshops, training sessions, and software demonstrations is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
