LDC Gas Forum Southeast 2026: Great Conversations, Strong Connections, and a Clear Message on Data Strategy

Sean McGlothlin and Scott Vogan were glad to represent nGenue at the Southeast LDC Gas Forum in Ponte Vedra Beach this month. With the official forum running April 8–10, and our team activities beginning the evening before, it was a valuable few days of reconnecting with clients, meeting new industry contacts, and discussing where the natural gas market is headed next.
We were especially pleased with the turnout for our happy hour the night before the Forums began. It gave us a great chance to spend time with existing clients, meet new faces, and celebrate momentum across the business, including time with our new client at BlueMark Energy.
Throughout the event, our kiosk gave us the opportunity to introduce more people to nGenue and have thoughtful conversations about the current and future state of the natural gas industry. One theme came through consistently: the rapid growth of data centers is creating new pressure on energy infrastructure, reliability, and local power generation. That broader industry conversation was clearly reflected in the forum agenda as well, where data center growth and AI demand were recurring topics.
Scott spoke during the conference on the importance of data strategy as a prerequisite for AI. The message is simple: companies cannot fully leverage AI without trusted, accessible, and well-structured data. At nGenue, that is a core part of our mission to give customers the best access to their data so that they can leverage it for technologies such as AI and analytics.
That fit well with the conference’s technology track, which focused on digital transformation, AI, and unlocking the power of operational data.
A few highlights from the week:
-
Valuable time with existing customers and promising new prospective customers
-
Great industry dialogue around data centers, infrastructure, and reliability
