Natural Gas Operations … the way it should be!

Is there any more important opinion than the voice of one’s customer? I think not. For years, we have heard Natural Gas business leaders voice their despair when they first engaged us, shifting to curiosity when we showcased for them nGenue capabilities and, ultimately, excitement and jubilation when we implemented nGenue to become their new operational engine and system of record for their Natural Gas business.

Over the holidays, I spent some time reviewing nGenue project manager notes from calls with customers spanning 2023 implementations. The transformation our customers experience over the course of an nGenue implementation follows a pattern that is well known to us – it’s the customer personalities that are unique; their voices reflecting individual top of mind concerns and revelations of how their nGenue implementation experience has delivered relative to expectations, relieved operational shortcomings and related anxieties, sparked excitement and ignited business transformation towards Natural Gas Operation Excellence. Here are some examples:

“Our last software didn’t ‘get’ Natural Gas. Functionality was generic and we had to build spreadsheets for everything the software couldn’t do, which was both inefficient and costly. Now that we have nGenue, we understand how important it is to have functionality designed for Natural Gas. nGenue ‘gets’ Natural Gas and saves us time and money.”

“Our operational staff was stretched to the breaking point, and we were faced with having to hire additional headcount. We couldn’t imagine software automating so many of the manual tasks we previously had to manage ourselves, but nGenue did. We didn’t make any hires; our staff can now do so much more, and we have headroom for growth.”

“Now that I am using nGenue, I couldn’t work without it – it has so many tools and is so much faster than [previous software]. I feel like I was hobbled before. System performance was a big issue for us previously. We would click the mouse and go get coffee before the screen refreshed. We were hoping for better, but never expected the instantaneous response we get from nGenue software.”

“Our previous ETRM required IT resources and expensive application experts. We didn’t expect to be able to increase our functional capabilities and administer the system ourselves, but nGenue enabled this and life is so much better.”
